Today’s quote is all about what you choose to do with what life throws at you. At times in our lives, we all go through situations and moments where things just suck. We lose a loved one, we lose a job, someone gets sick, or even something much smaller (you broke a nail, you got a pimple, your pants don’t fit, whatevs).
“It is not what happens that determines the major part of your future. What happens, happens to us all. It is what you do about what happens that counts.”
When things happen that we don’t perceive as “good,” it can really take a toll on our day, our jobs, our relationships. The reality is these things at someone point happen to all of us. That is life. How you deal with these circumstances, what you do with them, and how you see them is what really makes a difference. If things aren’t going right in your life, figure out a way to use the bad to fuel the good. A bad experience is usually there to help us grow, learn, and expand. So when things are good, marvel in the goodness. When things are bad, know it won’t last and remember the good times.
